What stays on your device
Your photo itself is never written to a database β it's used for the analysis request, then discarded API keys stored in sessionStorage only β cleared when you close the tab After any export you will be prompted to wipe the image from memory What leaves your device
Your photo is sent to Anthropic's API over HTTPS to perform the hazard analysis A 512px resized version is sent separately if you use Auto Blur If you send an email via Resend, the image is embedded in the email body If you sign in, your email and analysis count (not the photo) are stored so we can run free tiers, credits, and billing Anthropic API data policy: Under standard API terms, inputs are not used to train models and are not retained beyond the request. Verify with your Anthropic account terms before uploading sensitive site photos.
Best practice
Use Auto Blur or Draw to Blur to redact faces, name badges, and site identifiers Avoid photos containing PII not necessary for the hazard analysis
